Standard Features

1. High-Voltage Bushings & Insulation Performance

Equipped with 245kV-class primary bushings rated at 1045kV BIL and 72.5kV-class secondary bushings rated at 350kV BIL. Porcelain oil-filled condenser bushings include test taps for power factor testing and condition monitoring.

2. Five-Position Voltage Adjustment

The high-voltage winding features a five-position de-energized tap changer with a ±2×2.5% adjustment range, allowing the voltage ratio to be matched to the specified supply conditions while the transformer is de-energized.

3. Comprehensive Protection & Metering

Bushing current transformers provide protection and metering signals, while station-class surge arresters on the primary and secondary sides provide overvoltage protection. Qualitrol pressure protection devices and a Buchholz relay support transformer fault detection and protection.

4. Substation Monitoring Integration

The specified SEL-2414 transformer monitor and SEL-2725S Ethernet switch support monitoring and control system integration. Temperature, oil-level, and pressure protection devices provide alarm signals for operational supervision.

5. Maintenance-Friendly Cooling & Oil System

The conservator-type oil preservation system includes a silica gel breather and oil-level monitoring. Interchangeable steel radiators with individual isolation valves, together with oil sampling and drain provisions, facilitate routine inspection and maintenance.

6. Outdoor Construction & Installation Access

Designed for outdoor operation from −10°C to +45°C, the transformer features weatherproof, UV-resistant epoxy coating and a NEMA 4X wiring compartment. Lifting lugs, jacking provisions, and a base suitable for rollers or skidding support on-site handling and installation.
