6500 KVA Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer 33 KV To 0.9 KV Three Phase Compliant With AS60076 & AS3000 Standards


Cast resin dry-type transformers are compact, low-noise, low-loss, moisture-resistant and flame-retardant power transformers. After being wound and reinforced with glass fiber, they are vacuum-cast with epoxy resin, equipped with cooling fans and PT100 temperature sensors for reliable operation.

Winley Electric's  6500kVA cast resin dry-type transformer features a 6500kVA capacity, 33kV primary voltage, 0.9kV secondary voltage, three-phase, 9% impedance and Dyn11 vector group. With aluminum winding, (9) PT100 temperature sensors for LV winding and cooling fans, it is widely used in industrial power distribution, data centers and critical infrastructure applications, offering stable and efficient power supply while meeting strict Australian safety standards.

The transformers have the following characteristics
  • Windings have high mechanical strength and no partial discharge, suitable for the 6500 KVA high-capacity operation demand.
  • Epoxy resin and insulating materials used for windings are non-flammable, will not burn from an electric arc, and no toxic gases will be given off when the resin is burned, fully compliant with AS60076 & AS3000 Standards.
  • Environmental adaptability with windings that will not absorb moisture and a special anti-rust protective coating that seals the core and frame, matching the 33 KV high-voltage operation requirements.
  • Operates under one-hundred percent relative humidity and other severe ambient conditions, ensuring stable power supply for 33 KV to 0.9 KV three-phase power conversion.
  • Ability to switch on the device without pre-drying or long periods of service interruptions, reducing downtime for industrial and infrastructure applications.
  • Excellent short-circuit and lightning impulse strength, effectively protecting the 6500 KVA transformer from electrical faults.
  • Cooled naturally by air (AN) and forced air cooling (AF) provided as an option to improve overload capacity, adapting to the high-capacity operation needs.
