Dual 120/240V Output 5kVA Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer for Rural Utility Distribution

Product Overview

This 5kVA single-phase conventional pole-mounted transformer steps a 24940GrdY/14400V grounded-wye distribution supply down to two 120/240V secondary winding sets for low-load overhead service. Built with double hanger brackets, mineral-oil insulation, ONAN cooling, copper windings and a 25kV-class primary, it is suited to rural service points, remote monitoring equipment, lighting circuits and small municipal loads.

The dual split-phase secondary arrangement provides two separate 120/240V winding sets within the transformer’s total 5kVA rating, supporting projects that require flexible low-voltage circuit allocation. A five-position external no-load tap changer provides ±2×2.5% primary adjustment to accommodate feeder voltage conditions.
