Product Overview

Engineered to bridge standard 480V delta supplies with 416Y/240V grounded-wye systems, this 3000kVA three-phase pad-mounted isolation transformer provides reliable outdoor power distribution for industrial plants, data centers and critical infrastructure. Built in accordance with ANSI C57.12.34, it uses FR3 natural ester fluid and KNAN natural cooling for efficient operation without forced-air cooling equipment. The transformer provides a practical localized voltage-matching solution for manufacturing facilities and commercial campuses integrating imported or specialized 416/240V equipment into existing 480V systems.

The Dyn1 connection provides electrical isolation and establishes a grounded neutral point on the secondary side. By supplying both 416V three-phase power and 240V line-to-neutral service from a single pad-mounted unit, it can reduce the need for separate auxiliary transformers, helping simplify downstream distribution, save installation space and control overall system costs.

Applications
  • Sector: Industrial Manufacturing

Suitable applications:
High-end manufacturing facilities integrating automated production lines, process skids, cleanrooms, or European/Asian imported machinery specified for 415V/416V power into an existing 480V plant infrastructure.

Why this transformer fits:
The 480V to 416Y/240V transformation provides localized, isolated power for both major 416V motors and 240V secondary control loops out of a single compact 3000kVA installation.

  • Sector: Data Centers and Critical-Power Facilities

Suitable applications:
Tier-certified data centers, enterprise server farms, and medical infrastructure deploying 415V/240V-class high-efficiency UPS topologies, power distribution units (PDUs), and server racks where incoming utility feed remains 480V.

Why this transformer fits:
The Dyn1 vector provides an electrically isolated, clean secondary wye with a robust zero-sequence path to manage harmonic loads, while the 3000kVA rating smoothly scales to high-density downstream compute requirements.

  • Sector: Commercial and Institutional Campuses

Suitable applications:
Large-scale corporate campuses, multi-tenant mixed-use commercial properties, diagnostic laboratories, and research universities requiring localized 416Y/240V infrastructure stepped down from a centralized 480V loop.

Why this transformer fits:
The rugged, outdoor pad-mounted configuration safely keeps high-capacity voltage transformation hardware outside occupied building zones, reclaiming valuable interior square footage.

  • Sector: Infrastructure and Process Facilities

Suitable applications:
Water/wastewater treatment utilities, chemical process facilities, and massive logistics hubs implementing pre-packaged electrical equipment and pumps engineered for 416V operation.

Why this transformer fits:
Fire-safe FR3 fluid combined with heavy-duty exterior construction, removable radiators, and fanless natural cooling ensures uninterrupted, long-life operation in remote or specialized equipment pads.
