  • Elbow Plug Design: The high-voltage incoming cable connection utilizes an elbow plug, allowing for easy and safe plug-and-play operation even when the system is energized.
  • Robust Defense Capability: The transformer is equipped with enhanced defense mechanisms, effectively mitigating instantaneous voltage spikes and protecting the equipment from damage.
  • Dual Fuse Protection:
  • a. A dual-sensitive plug-in fuse (temperature and current) safeguards the secondary side of the transformer.
  • b. A backup current-limiting protection fuse (ELSP) protects against internal faults on the high-voltage side.
  • Long Service Life: Built with high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing technology, the transformer is highly durable and offers a significantly longer service life compared to conventional oil-immersed transformers.

* Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation: Assures correct winding ratios and tap voltages; checks insulationof HV and LV circuits. Checks entire insulation system to verily all live-lo·ground clearances.
*Resistance: This test verifies the integrity of intemal high-voltage and low-voltage connections;provides data for loss upgrade calculations.
* Applied Potentiat: Applied lo both high-voltage and low-vollage windings, this test stresses the entireinsulation system to verify all live-to-ground clearances.
*Induced Potential: 3.46 times normal plus 1000 voits for reduced neutral designs.
* Loss Test: These design verification tesls are conducted to assure that guaranteed loss values are meland that test values are within design tolerances. Tests include no-load loss and excitation current
along with impedance voltage and load loss.
* Leak Test: Pressurizing the tank to 7 psig assures a complete seal, with no weld or gasket leaks, toeliminate the possibility of moisture infiltration or fluid oxidation.
